Dans une télésérie américaine, j'ai entendu une intéressante citation que les personnages attribuaient à Gandhi. Ça ressemblait à ça: «Une amitié qui repose sur l'identité sans faille des croyances et des convictions ne mérite pas le nom d'amitié.»

Je n'en trouve pas trace sur Google. Quelqu'un aurait une idée?

Je propose:
"Friendship that insists on agreement on all matters is not worth the name. Friendship to be real must ever sustain the weight of honest differences, however sharp they be."

J'ai fait une recherche avec "friendship belief gandhi" et suis tombé sur le site Quotations of Mahatma Gandhi. Je n'ai pas approfondi parce que ça me semble être ce que tu cherches.
