Personally I believe there's a different explanation why we have not been contacted.

It's because UFOs are just optical illusions and natural phenomena that a bunch of idiots like you are trying to interpret as spaceships, despite the total lack of such observations on telescopes, and the total lack of any clear pictures of spaceships or any artefact related to these spaceships.

Duh.
