L'objectivité, bla-bla. Eh oui, l'objectivité pose un problème, mais pas au point où on puisse se permettre de l'ignorer entièrement et de diriger toute connaissance vers le support d'un point de vue politique. Si c'était le cas, il ne servirait absolument à rien de savoir quoi que ce soit, puisque votre opinion ne changerait jamais. Le chercheur peut très bien veiller à recueillir et à analyser l'information pour elle-même, sans compter qu'il y aura plus tard d'autres chercheurs pour regarder par-dessus son épaule et critiquer. Une démonstration purement politique est assez facile à distinguer d'un argument logique et empiriquement fondé. L'objectivité n'est donc pas un «état de grâce» mais une mission à remplir, que vous échouez lamentablement.
Quant à la police, je ne me souviens pas avoir dit que tout baignait dans l'huile, loin, très loin de là. J'ai simplement voulu nuancer vos propos.
